Lenabo wins the Innovation Award at Kind + Jugend 2025
Nov 07, 2025
From September 9 to 11, 2025, we attended the Kind + Jugend trade fair in Cologne – Europe's largest trade fair for baby and toddler products. And we returned with a very special award: the Innovation Award 2025 in the "Toys & Education" category.
Standing out among 132 applicants
With our smart, sustainable and educational Lenabo toy system, we managed to stand out among a strong field of 132 applications. The jury praised our vision of developing not just another toy, but a holistic ecosystem that grows with children, combines learning and playing, and focuses on durability and sustainability. Winning this award is not only a great recognition of our work so far, but also a strong signal that the industry believes in our approach.
Positive feedback & valuable conversations
In addition to the award ceremony, our appearance at the trade fair was marked by numerous inspiring encounters. For three intensive days, we presented the Lenabo Smart Toy Ecosystem to retailers, media representatives and potential cooperation partners – and the feedback was consistently positive.
The trade in particular highlighted the long-term usability: from sleep sounds for babies to stories and audio plays, and even educational content for school children. Parents who visited us at our stand also emphasized how important it is for toys to remain relevant for many years.
Why this award is important to us
Winning the Innovation Award means far more than just a trophy to us. It confirms that Lenabo is on the right track: rethinking toys – as a sustainable, smart and educational system that accompanies families for many years. For us, this award is both an honor and an incentive to continue pursuing our goal consistently.
Looking ahead
With the Innovation Award behind us and strong tailwinds from the Kind + Jugend trade fair, we are now looking forward to our upcoming market launch. We look forward to bringing Lenabo to many families very soon – and showing why smart and durable toy systems are the future.
