Lenabo wins the Innovation Award at Kind + Jugend 2025

From September 9th to 11th, 2025, we were at the Kind + Jugend trade fair in Cologne – Europe's largest trade fair for baby and toddler products. And we came back with a very special award: the Innovation Award 2025 in the "Toys & Education" category .

Success among 132 applicants

With our smart, sustainable, and educational Lenabo toy system, we prevailed in a strong field of 132 applicants. The jury recognized our vision of developing not just another toy, but a holistic ecosystem that grows with children, combines learning and play, and focuses on durability and sustainability. Winning this award is not only a great recognition of our work to date, but also a strong signal that the industry believes in our approach.

Positive feedback & valuable conversations

Besides the award ceremony, our trade fair appearance was marked by numerous inspiring encounters. For three intensive days, we presented the Lenabo Smart Toy ecosystem to specialist retailers, media representatives and potential cooperation partners – and the feedback was consistently positive.

Retailers in particular emphasized the long-term usability : from lullabies for babies to stories and audio plays, all the way to learning content for school children. Parents who visited our stand also stressed how important it is that toys remain relevant for many years.
